Food Display Counters
Food display cases are a good way to bring attention to certain products. Highlight new products, sales, and items that have redesigned packaging by placing these items in the food display case to catch the customer’s eye. Building a food display case allows the store or restaurant to design the case to fit its needs and have the freedom to change the display as needed.
Determine Size of Case
Gather an example of each product to be placed onto the food display case. Determine the number of each item and place them side-by-side, stacked one on top of another, or both. Figure out the amount of space needed by placing the desired amount of each product together, building an example of the desired display. Measure the length, width, and height of sample display of each product.
Construct Shelving Unit
Using the measurements purchase an appropriately sized shelving unit. Build the shelving unit according to the manufacturer's instructions. Anchor the shelving unit to the wall using nails placed onto the back of the shelving unit and the wall. Tie a sturdy piece of rope or cable to the nails and pull tight leaving as small of a gap between the shelves and the wall as possible.
